We start a set of lessons from John Mellencamp with Pink Houses, a song that is not too difficult to play. Like most of John’s songs, Pink Houses starts off with a signature riff, which is easy to incorporate into strumming through the progression.
The song includes some syncopated chord changes, but all the chords are very easy. We also look at adding a second guitar part capoing up the neck and playing in a different key.
This Bloomington Boy is glad to see this Pink Houses lesson!!!!
